Jewellery Swap August / September Red Earrings

I had the idea of organising a jewellery swap on the CB forum and it was received quite well. I held a vote to pick from three colours to make a pair of earrings (Red, Blue, Yellow). It was a close call between Red and Blue, but Red won. Participants then had to send their earrings to me by the closing date and I would organise swap partners and send out the earrings. I chose to be a swap partner with JulietK as I really liked her earrings. The are sterling silver hooks like mine and she had used sparkly silver balls which I really liked. Here is a picture of all the jewellery made (first), mine (second) and Juliets (third pic).

Hand Drawn Flower Card

I had a go at drawing my own image to make a greeting card. Unfortunately, I don't know what type of marker is best to draw these type of images for. Have asked on CB forum so just waiting for a reply. Maybe someone there will know.

So the image is hand drawn, I have used watercolour pencils to colour it in and then used yellow seed beads to make the centre. Around the outside is punched flowers and seed beads.

Two More ATCs

I'm really fond of making ATCs now and think I might get a little addicted to them. They are like creating small pieces of art. (Think I would like to try inchies at some point to). Anyway I have done teabag folding on one (which I love doing) and used an embellishment from LMC 17 mag and punched flowers to make the other one. First one is called Teabag Fairies and the second one is called Flower Extravaganza.

Sarah Kay Card

Here is the first Sarah Kay stamped card I have ever done and I decided to go with a purple colour scheme - I think I would like to do this again, using a colour scheme, e.g., pink, red.

Green Drop Earrings

I made these earrings for my friend in work. She had seen a pink pair I made and liked them. She likes green so I made her a green pair - she really likes them but I think I need to take one of them home as the loop I made on the headpin seems a little tight and is causing the earring to twist and stay twisted. I'm a beginner and know I need to keep on really practicing making loops in headpins - not as easy as it looks.

Decoupaged Snowman Christmas Card

I made this decoupaged card using silicone glue rather than pads and I did enjoy using this glue. I have also entered this card onto a competition on the CB forum to win £45.00 of Hobbycraft vouchers, although when I go to Hobbycraft I can happily spend a lot more than that.

This is a decoupaged card which I made for a dear friend on the CB forum call Natalie (sequin). She had become an aunty and was so made up.
