My New Cuttlebug

Well just look what my wonderful boyfriend brought home for me last night.
He is just so supportive of my hobby and has already bought me lots of things.
He knew I wanted a cuttlebug for Christmas but he decided to buy it for me anyway.
I was gobsmacked when I opened the box.

THANK YOU Col - you are just amazing and I appreciate everything you do for me and the way you support anything that I'm interested in - Lots of love Babe Michelle xx

My Three Christmas Cards

I still have loads to make !!!!

I read about a great technique that I hadn't used before in a magazine (I can't remember which one), and decided to use it on the following cards. You use double sided sticky tape and sprinkle glitter on it. As you can see from my cards it looks very effective. On the blue card it has been used down the left hand side and the bottom of the card. On the pink card it has been used as a border all around and on the green card it has been used on the left hand side on either side of a holly border. The characters are only slighty decoupaged for a bit of depth and I have used stickles glitter in different colours on each card. The wonderful images and papers came from this months Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine. They are just ideal for Christmas cards and I think the papers would also make great ATCs too.

Elegant Hat ATCs

I hosted a swap over on the CB forum for October. It was to make fairy tags. I got some wonderful gifts from the ladies, which they sent in with their 2 tags. As a thank you, I made each one of them an ATC.

I used hat peel offs and stuck them onto white card. I then coloured them in using watercolour pencils. I cut the hats out and stuck them onto basic grey pink paper, which I inked around the edges with pink ink. I covered the ATC with Dovecraft oriental paper and then fixed on the pink paper.

I made these in a production line style :0)

Here kitty kitty - put your cursor on him and he will purr and meow !
