Scalloped Edge Butterfly Card

This little number was really easy to do. I just used my nestabilities to cut two different sized circles, one on plain card and one on doodlebug strawberry paper. I added a papermania butterful topper to the centre. The scalloped edges of the card have been decorated with a length of ribbon that I cut up and added little pearls to the centres and to top it all off a rub on greeting was then added - easy as 1,2,3 LOL Michelle x

Elegant Floral Birthday Card

I made this card for a friend in work. Its a very uncluttered design and I used K&Co; backing paper, Silk Road Prima Flowers (I added pale blue stickles around the edge of the blue flower), Amy Butler Brad and Doodlebug eyelets (I crushed these a little too much with my crop-o-dile as I’m a little heavy handed!). I inked around the card and backing paper - hope you like x

Sarah Kay Notebook

Here is my entry for yet another challenge over on CB. I used the Laura Ashley paper and ribbons I won at their masquerade party. I coloured the Sarah Kay image with watercolour pencils and kept the colours to match everything else. As well as ribbon on the binding bits i wove peach rosebuds (this is because on my last notebook I just used ribbon and wanted this to look a little different). I added bling and a peach bouquet. I also added the same Laura Ashley paper on the inside of notebook for a professional finish. Michelle x

Room Box for a Challenge over on the CB Forum

I always wanted one of these and now I have made one :cheese: Its a room box and the template came from this website - it was a freebie and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it. I have now downloaded it and intend to use it again and again. I ended up also buying the templates for the bedroom furniture. Thank you CB.
As you can see from the pics it is a girls bedroom. I made the bedroom furniture and soft furnishings. The soft furnishings are hand sewn. The other items, jewellery box, handbag, teddy (I did put the white ribbon on him), vase and flowers I bought. Did you also notice the sewing basket? What girls room would be complete without this?
The curtains have been hung onto a pink pipe cleaner from my son's toybox  and I added two pink faceted beads on the ends to secure curtains in place. I then made the duvet and pillow, which I stuffed with scraps of material.
I decorated the outside of the box to make it look like a window box.
I love this and I hope you like it to. Thanks for looking.

I Can Hardly Bear to Part with this Image

... because I really love it. It reminds me of my childhood as this really could be me and my friends, our neighbours use to call us the united nations. It is going to my little neice who is two tomorrow. I used my new nestabilities, embossed it then added lace, flowers, pears and prima say it with crystals gems. x

Flower Fairies Castle 1

I thought these fairies might need a castle so I made them one. I'm quite pleased with this make as I designed my own template to make it and it was great fun to do. I had to glue two pink cards together, and use quite a bit of card from the cards in the pack to make the turrets (decorated inside and out), and door but it was worth it. I love the way the little fairy boy is peeking out of the window because he reminds me of my son Brandon when he is peeking out the window, he even has a similar haircut to my DS. I also like the little bee that's making a bee line (no pun intended) towards the flowers. I cut the white off this diecut to make it more authentic. As the card progressed I realised it would make a lovely birthday card for a little girl, hence the happy birthday framed picture on the wall, with two other pretty framed pictures on either side. The fairies inside look like they are either relaxing or dancing away. I think I will give this to my little neice Mikayla for her 2nd birthday tomorrow, on behalf of Brandon. Floral Pyramage Cards

I made these cards for some birthdays on here. I think all three have been received now so I can post a pic. I have three more of these to make and send to the next birthdays. They are buzz craft pyramages and I found using silicone glue easier to use than foam pads as you do have to move them around a little to make sure you get a perfect match.

Here kitty kitty - put your cursor on him and he will purr and meow !
