I will let Krista introduce herself.............

My name is Krista Smith. I am the artist behind the Etsy shop, Saturated Canary Digis. I began working in the stamping world about a year ago when I was hired to create rubber designs for the sweet Scottish company, Sugar Nellie. They launched my artwork under the name 'Simply Sassy.' I moved into the digital world just this past month (it's been a super busy month, indeed!). And-- I love it!! There is a little more freedom here, as I can create anything that pops into my head:)! I am so humbled by the artistic talent of the girls coloring in my designs-- it is truly an inspiration! Likewise, I am so thankful for the friendships I've made in this wonderful and lovely crafty community! It's been a true delight! I'd love for you to stop by my challenge/inspiration blog, Saturated Canary Challenge and join in the fun...And, while you're there, click over to my personal blog (Saturated Canary) and introduce yourself! I am a bit eclectic and touch on everything from family (I've got me a great one!) to fashion (obsessed!)...Please say 'hi!'...I'd love to be friends!:)

Hi there!

It's another Sweet Wednesday where you will get a chance to play along over at my favourite challenge blog, Sweet Sketch Wednesday, where the very talented Arlana has another Sketch for us all to play with. Please go over there and have a play.

This week we are being sponsored by the wonderful artist Krista at Saturated Canary and she is offering the winner a 2 gorgeous Digi Images. You don't want to miss out on this one, because her digi images are to die for, also, don't forget that you also have a chance to be in the Top 3!!!

As well as my cards you will also find wonderful inspiration from the very talented Sweet Sketch Wednesday Design Team.

Would love to see you there :0)

On my cards I have used 'Lolita'. She is very sweet and I thoroughly enjoyed making these cards. I decided to do two cards to experiment with two different skin tones and hair colours and I am really overjoyed with how they turned out. I have used pro markers to colour my girls and have added gems and pearls to the images. My papers on both of these cards are from Wild Rose Studio (bought mine at the Glitter Pot). The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The dark pink card is from Papermania (textured card) and the Light Pink Card is Bazil Basics. The pink spotty ribbon and the blue trim are from my stash. The sweet butterflies are just from my local Discount Centre (£1.00 for 8 BARGAIN)!

Thanks for looking and have a great day - Michelle x

These are gorgeous Michelle! You really have two entirely different looks here and I love them both. These images are so fun aren't they? Your papers are so pretty here and I love that punched border that frames Lolita so nicely. Have a super week!

Sharon :)

Both of your cards are amazing Michelle. Actually, flat out stunning. I really like how you used the different skin tones for your cards. They are both gorgeous. And, your choice of papers are prefect. I love how you used the border punch. Have a wonderful week.
Hugs, Nancy

Michelle, I love them both. The first one is so soft and delicate with those papers that remind me of wallpaper and the second one looks like a flower child of the 60's, if you know what that means. Love your choices on both of these and thanks for sharing them both! Great job on these and good luck in your card you entered for the SC challenge.

Oh Michelle, two lovely card, they're so pretty and I just adore your design papers. I love how you said you were experimenting with skin and hair colours. I did as well, I coloured one of my images with black hair and I still haven't got it right so I didn't use that image. Two lovely cards. Wishing you a great week.
