Cute Boy and Puppy Birthday Card

Hiya - This card I did for my favourite challenge blog Sweet Sketch Wednesday. The image that I stamped is a freebie believe it or not from Simply Papercrafts magazine. Its from a range of stamps from Lady Bug. I coloured it in with pro markers. I really do want to learn different mediums of colouring in. The backing papers are from Basic Grey 'Oliver', which is a really nice collection of papers. Check out the little critters on the paper, cute eh. I die cut the stars and the rest of the items on the card are from my stash. Thank you for looking :0)

Dino Card using Pink Petticoat

Evening everyone - I made this card for my Son to take to another birthday party. I used a Dino image and backing papers from Pink Petticoat. The green paper has been dry embossed (cuttlebug) with a dots folder. I coloured the image with promarkers and highlighted with some green fine glitter. The trim is just from my stash and the cute little buttons are from Papermania's capsule collection. The sentiments are computer generated. Hope you think it's fun and thanks for looking :0) Michelle

A Quick Birthday Card for A Boy

Hi - what a miserable, wet drizzly day today. Hope your weather is better where you are.
Today I made this card for my son to take to his friend's house for birthday tea. It was short notice and I didn't have much time today so had to come up with something quick and also suitable for a 5 year old boy. This is what I came up with. It took me under an hour to do, but would have been done quicker if I didn't keep measuring the backing paper wrong on it. I got it right in the end, but I must have just been having one of those days. The sentiment is stamped with a wooden stamp from Anitas, the stars are a Sizzix Bigz die, the backing paper is just something I had in my stash, the textured card is from Papermania and the little gem stars are also from Papermania. Thanks for reading and looking :0)

Pepper and Friends Card - SOLD

Hi - I made this card with a lovely wooden stamp that I had got for my birthday from my friend, Louise. I coloured the image in with pro-markers. I have used burgandy backing card, MME (Asparagus) backing paper, flower and leaves I had lying in my stash, Kanban red gems and I have inked the edges of the image and backing paper with green pearlescent ink. The sentiment is computer generated. Thanks for looking x

Pyramage Butterflies

Evening all. I bought these gorgeous butterfly pyramage sheets in a craft fair last year. They are from Hunkydory. I have added them to bazil ling card and a strip of paper that has been embossed with my cuttlebug embossing folder called Script. I then sand papered around the edges of the strip for added interest. Thanks for looking - Michelle

PS: The two first birthday cards that I posted yesterday - the person who required the card chose the glittery number 1 card - that was my favourite too! My fella's favourite was the cute and cuddly one.

A few Cards

Evening everyone - three cards I did - the mouse running away with the ice cream and the popcorn the bear pyramage I did for my friend (1 from me and of course 1 from Brandon). The monkeys in the boat one I did with a stamp I had won as part of my prize for MOTM and I followed a sketch for this one, just altered it a little. I made the embellishment from a felt scalloped die cut and sewed a button on it (just to look a little different for a change) - hope you like and thanks for looking.

Grandad Birthday Card

I made this very cute little card on behalf of my son Brandon for my dad. It is a Magnolia stamp (I just love this owl), I have used inking, watercolour pencils and basic grey papers.

Dad Birthday Card

This is a card I made for my dad's birthday. I made the letters myself by making templates from Microsoft Word. I then cut the letters from Prima paper and used Basic Grey for the background. I have inked around the edges of the letters and used rub ons and rubber stamping on the letters themselves, plus i've added some ribbon too. Hope my dad likes this!

My First Card

This card was made in March 2007 for my son Brandon when he turned 1. I did like the results and a lot of people did, but I can spot a few ways that I could have made this card better. But its my first attempt and I was quite pleased with it. It is a decoupaged little boy and I remember I printed off the backing papers. I love organza ribbon and thought it looked great on this card. I put an insert into the card with a little verse made up especially for Brandon from his dad.

Here kitty kitty - put your cursor on him and he will purr and meow !
