Hi - a quick as I can post cos really busy. I have ended up with another little boy staying at mine because his mum has been rushed to hospital so as you can imagine the house is being turned upside down lol. Boys eh!!
This card is for my favourite sketch challenge Sweet Sketch Wednesday. I have used a LOTV image and coloured her in with my pro markers. The backing papers are Papermania which I've had for a while and I have distressed the edges of this. The lace and roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment is cuddly buddly. I have added little pearls to the flowers and to her bows in her hair. The gingham ribbon is from my stash.
The sketch I worked from was very interesting and really got me thinking about my layout.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge No. 111 and Sugar Nellie Goth Girl

Good evening. Have had a busy day today with my DS Brandon. We went to the library this morning and then played out in the park for most of the day. I did, however, manage to do this card for my favourite challenge blog Sweet Sketch Wednesday.
This Goth Girl is from Sugar Nellie and I coloured her in with pro-markers. For the backing papers I have used Basic Grey Oliver 6 x 6 collection which I thought did suit a goth card as well as boys cards. Behind these papers is black Bazil Bling card. I made the swirls behind the flowers with a Sizzix Bigz die and the flowers and gems are all from my stash. The length of fibre is also from my stash. I decorated the inside of the card to match the front as well. Hope you like and thanks for looking.

LOTV Challenge No. 104

Good evening all. Had a really busy day today. In the morning I made this card and then after I cleaned and tidied my son's bedroom which turned out to be a job and a half. It was worth it though because his room looks lovely and cosy now and he also now has tons of space to play in which he did!! I'm tired now but still gotta iron his uniform.
Anyhow I made this card for the LOTV challenge. They have also given an inspiring sketch to work from. I have used a LOTV stamp which I coloured in with pro markers. I'd already decided my colour scheme of purple and yellow and then decided to throw some green in the mix. The papers are an old 12 x 12 Papermania paper pack. The sentiment is LOTV. The pearls are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the flowers and green flower brads are from my stash. I used a daisy punch for the detailing just under the image. Hope you like and thanks for looking.

Wishing You Health & Happiness

Good morning everyone. Thanks for stopping by, I feel like I haven't blogged in aaaagggges.
Anyhow, today I have a card to show which I did for the Sweet Wednesday Sketch challenge.
The stamp is from Wild Rose Studio and is part of their Sweet Cupcake stamp range. The papers are also Wild Rose and this pack is called Kate Knight Summer Fiesta. I have also used purple card, flowers from my stash. For the little stamped oriental symbols I used these brads I had from Papermania where you punch a circle and put them in the brad, then attach a clear top over them. They look really nice. Mia (the image), is coloured with pro markers. On the edges of this image, I stamped some bamboo leaves with purple ink to keep in with the oriental theme. Have a great day :0)

Sarah Kay Sister Card - Also for a Sketch Challenge

Good afternoon - isn't the weather gorgeous - hope it lasts. My little one is outside in the park with his dad at the mo, making the most of it.
This pretty card was made using a sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday.
When I finished colouring this Sarah Kay image, I realised it would make a lovely sister card. I have used pro markers to colour the image. I then highlighted parts of the image with clear fine glitter. The backing papers are Basic Grey "Oh Baby" range. I have used a pink flower from my stash, a gold flower, and little closed rosebuds. On the pink flower, I have added the tiniest green gems to the petals. I have punched the leaves and inked the edges with green ink. The sentiment is hand stamped and both the sentiment and image have been inked around the edges with brown ink. This is all finished off with 3 green gems on the image and pretty pink ribbon mounted onto lace. Hope you like and thanks for looking. :0)

Fairy & Flowers Digi Stamp Card

Evening all - we've had snow here, have you had any and it's freezing cold. Roll on Spring!!
I have made this card with a Digi stamp from Pink Cat Studio and it is so cute, I love this. I got some more too and they are just as cute. I used a sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday to build up my card. The image is coloured with pro markers and I have used backing papers from Pink Petticoat. I have applied fine blue glitter around the oval to frame the fairy. The ribbon and flowers are from my stash and the cute gem on the bow is actually a blue peg. I suppose this could be removed to be used by recipient. Lastly the sentiment is from a set by Personal Impressions and I have mounted this onto a die cut scalloped blue card circle. Thanks for looking and hope you like - Michelle :0)

Hi - Spring is just around the corner and I can't wait. It snowed a little here in Buxton yesterday but didn't stick thank god.
This here card was done using a sketch by Sketch Saturday. It' present giving Tilda and was a Christmas 2011 stamp which I'm going to use as a birthday stamp too. She is coloured in with promarkers and highlighted with fine glitter. The red patterned paper is also Magnolia's Christmas 2011 collection and I have also used textured blue card from Papermania. Pepper and Friends Card - SOLD

Hi - I made this card with a lovely wooden stamp that I had got for my birthday from my friend, Louise. I coloured the image in with pro-markers. I have used burgandy backing card, MME (Asparagus) backing paper, flower and leaves I had lying in my stash, Kanban red gems and I have inked the edges of the image and backing paper with green pearlescent ink. The sentiment is computer generated. Thanks for looking x

A Summer Card - SOLD

Hi - I’m not sure if this image is a Sugar Nellie or Whiff of Joy? Anyhow I decided to go with an unusual layout and have everything going diagonally across the page. I also chose to go with an orange and green colour scheme as that seems really summery (especially, considering all the rain we’ve had). I coloured the image in with watercolour pencils. I die cut the flowers with a spellbinders die and the backing paper is Dovecraft vintage. I finished off with a stamped swirl (Basic Grey) in the top right hand corner, topped off with little green gems. Thanks for looking x

LOTV Card

Good evening - I made this card with LOTV image, Marianne Design die cut flowers and leaves MME papers and Cuddly Buddly round sentiment stamp. I also decorated the inside of this card as that seems to be the trend now, though won't to that all the time I'm afraid as it's a little time consuming. I just have one grumble about my card though and that is the leaves on the front, I wish I had shortened the stems as I feel that would look better, although I have done this for the inside of the card - thanks for looking x

Sugar Nellie Card - SOLD

well I think it is a Sugar Nellie image. It was given to me in a RAK ages ago. I coloured it in with my watercolour pencils and then used papers from Dovecraft’s Funky Vintage pad, Prima gems and purple card. The piece across the middle was just something I had in my stash (think it came with a magazine), as was the sentiment. Thanks for looking and hope u like x

My First Easel Card

Hiya - I had fun making this easel card. I used a gorgeous print from Crafts U Print and when I saw the scalloped piece on the print, I knew this would make an ideal stopper for the card. I have used dark pink Bazil Bling card, Kate Knight backing paper, gold corner peel offs and Kanban jewels. Can you spot the two birdies on this card by any chance??? Hope you like - Michelle

Pinks and Beautiful Flowers

Good evening - this card is a commission a friend of mine requested. I have used dark pink Bazil Bling card and forever friends paper. The flowers are Prima and I put sparkling gems in the centre. The sentiments are computer generated. My friend was over the moon with this commission and I'm really glad she was as I find it a little bit nerve wracking doing commissions as I'm always worried it won't be liked. I have one more commission (a silver wedding anniversary card), and then I really can't do any more because of our big move!

Hi - this gorgeous image is from Lili of the Valley. I coloured her in with my watercolour pencils and added dashes of fine glitter here and there. The pink backing paper is from Basic Grey and I lightly sandpapered the edges of this. All other papers are Papermania's Blueberry Hill. I have also used pearls and Prima flowers. Thanks for looking - Michelle
