Tina Wenke Mouse in a Tea Cup and Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge No. 115

Hello there - been a while I know - summer holidays are HARD WORK lol. I have done this card for Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge No. 115 I enjoyed this sketch, although it looks simple, I still had to think about it. The stamp is a Tina Wenke stamp, coloured in with my pro markers. The backing paper is Kate Knight for Wild Rose Studio (a summer collection of papers). The backing card is Bazil Bling. I have also used prima flowers, wild orchid crafts roses and gems. Thank you for looking and hope you like this little cutie :0)

Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge No. 109 & Wild Rose Studio Sweet Bear with Poppy

Evening all, hope you are all enjoying the weekend so far. Today I took my son Brandon to his School Summer Fair which was a lot of fun and I had an hour stint serving on the tea and cake stand which I really enjoyed doing. His School is raising money for a new School Library so all proceeds from this fair will go to that. It was a packed event so hopefully they will have raised quite a bit. The rain was even kind enough to hold off.
Anyhow, this sweet bear card is a stamp from Wild Rose Studio and I coloured it in with my pro markers. I used a sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday to build up this card. The backing papers were a freebie pack of papers and are from Serif. The flower embellishments are from Wild Orchid Crafts as is the seam binding ribbon and little hat pins. The pearls are from my stash. I have also used red textured card in the background and to make the punched bits down the sides of the card. Thanks for looking :0)

A Very Sweet Treat using Pink Petticoat

Good evening all - I've had quite a busy week because it has been half term and my little cutie has been with me all week and he will be tomorrow too as they don't go back until Tuesday. I love having him at home and miss him when he goes to School, but I also love the free time too (crazy eh?) He misses being at home too, but at least he gets to see all his friends when he goes in.
I just popped on to quickly put up this sweet (literally) card for you to see. The image and backing paper is from Pink Petticoat and the image is coloured in with promarkers then highlighted with some clear fine glitter and little gems. The gorgeous pink organza ribbon is from my stash - thank you for looking and have a great week - Michelle :0)

Stepping Out Tilda

Good evening everyone. Haven't posted anything in a little while. Got caught up in trying to get our house sorted. Still got loads to do sigh! LOL.
Anyhow this card was done using a sketch over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. I have used a Magnolia Tilda image (coloured with pro markers and highlighted with green fine glitter) and papers from Basic Grey Olivia 6 x 6 pad. The flowers are Prima and Wild Orchid crafts and the little brads were plain green and I glittered them with green fine glitter. The piece of lace is just something I had in my stash. I altered the sketch a little, the top is at the bottom and the bottom is at the top. Thanks for looking:0)

Cute Scottie Dog Card

Hi - this is a colour scheme I have never played with before and am really pleased how it turned out. The sketch I used is from Sweet Sketch Wednesday and I loved this layout. Lately, I have been using colours that I never would before. Must be getting daring in my old age LOL. This cute black Scottie dog is from Meiflower Crafts (check out her blog candy on the right!!). I used my nestabilities and actually nested them for this design. The backing paper is Kate Knight and the pink ribbon is also from Meiflower crafts. Thanks for looking :0)

Sweet "Cup of Tea Anyone" Card

Good evening everyone. This card I made with a Lili of the Valley rubber stamp and I had this gorgeous teapot paper from Wild Rose Studio which was just made for this image. I coloured the image in with pro markers and used Papermania blue cardstock for backing. I've added a cute bead to the bow and finished off with some bling. Hope you like and thanks for looking:0)

Pink Polka Dots & Scottie Dog

Hi there - brrrrr it's so cold here, snow is on the way, i'm sure. This card is so cute and girly. I made it with a glittery pink scottie dog, pink doggie ribbon and flower sequins topped with gems, all from my favourite on-line shop Meiflower. Fairy and Flowers Challenge Card

Hi - this Lili of the Valley fairy is coloured in with promarkers and highlighted with fine glitter. I have used Basic Grey backing paper and brown card. I have embossed some Green basic grey paper as part of the design. The sentiment is also Lili of the Valley. I have used Prima flowers and a flower from Wild Orchid Crafts. Lili of the Valley Challenge - Things with Wings

Hi there! This is my card for the recent Lili of the Valley challenge. I decided to go with a purple and green colour scheme as these are my favourite colours. It is "Things with Wings" so I have used one of their fairy stamps. Very pretty, isn't she? I coloured her in with my promarkers and added glitter to her wings, crown, flowers and bow. I have used Lilac bazil bling card and Doodlebug backing paper. The gorgeous ribbon you can see is from Meiflower on-line shop. I have finished off with flowers from Wild Orchid and pretty gems. Pink Orchid Card

Good evening everyone, it feels a bit nippier outside tonight, it's been mild for a couple of days and earlier on today there was even some sunshine which really brightened me up.
I made this card with a beautiful pink orchid and some flower sequins and gems from a gem of shop I found called Meiflower. Its a simple card that can be used for any occasion. I also used pink card and Wild Rose Studio Japanese backing paper which I thought went beautifully with this orchid. Thanks for looking Michelle

Sleeping Fairy using my Recycled Scallops

In a previous post (link here ), I made my own pretty scallops from cereal boxes. I had two and used this is the second one. She is a sleeping fairy resting upon my second scallop. Isn't she gorgeous, and looks so peaceful. She is part of the snag em stamps from papermania and for the backing paper I used the wand stamp and silver pigment ink - thank you for looking - Michelle x

Sugar Nellie's Claudia the Artist & a bit of recycling

Hi everyone - here is a card that has been made up using a recycled cereal packet as an element on it. As you can see from the pics the scalloped circle started life as a Special K box, the pictures kind of explain everything. I just die cut the scalloped circles with my cuttlebug, painted them with acrylic paint and then stamped a swirly flower design onto them. I also painted the back of these circles just in case I wanted to use them as a raised element - wouldn't be any good if recipient got a peak of Special K on the back lol. Anyhow, I have used my green and silver circle for this card to go with Claudia. I inked the edges of the beige flower and the tips of the green leaves. I stamped the corners with Laura Ashley Conemmera stamp and attached little purple pearls as well. Thanks for looking - Michelle x

A Greeting of Love Tilda Magnolia Card

Hi there - here is another card I made using one of the Tilda stamps from the new 2010 Spring collection. This Tilda is called Noble Tilda and she is sitting in a scalloped circle that has been embossed with "Roses" Cuttlebug folder. The greeting is done with a greeting stamp that is also from the same collection as the Tilda. The papers I have used are Forever Friends All Loved Up A5 Paper Pack and I have inked the edges with Dew Drops Brilliance Ink in Pearlescent Crimson. Cream lace, white flower, roses, brad, ribbon and pearl gems complete the card. Hope you liked looking at my card - Michelle x

Magnolia Card

Hi everyone - hope you are all well - I have found time to get on here and to show you a Magnolia card that I have just done. The image is from the new Magnolia Spring 2010 collection and is such a happy image. The papers are Basic Grey and Doodlebug. I stamped the blue flower in the bottom left hand corner with a Basic Grey stamp and then stamped "with love" in the bottom right hand corner - hope you like my card and thanks for looking - Michelle x

Vintage White Roses Card

White roses are my absolute favourite flower. I got this image from crafts u print to enter their £1,000 competition. I'm not winning it, but I'm not coming last either :)
Any way I took inspiration from this card from a picture hanging up in our living room. The card is very similar to this painting only the painting doesn't have the eyelets! The background was torn, then stamped with a script cuttlebug folder and then inked with brown to make it look old.

Vintage Flower Fairy

My friend Natalie (Sequin) from the Crafts Beautiful forum had sent me a gorgeous RAK (of which I'll post here shortly) which included this piece of Papermania Blueberry Hill paper and Flower Fairy Topper. I’ve changed the look of the paper by making it look old - I used an brown ink pad all around it, then rubbed my nail file over it to try and make it look old. When I first started adding the ink I thought “Oh my god it’s gonna look awful”. I added some pink glitter to the roses as well. I also added clear glitter to the fairy topper, on her wings, the rose and dress edge. I then added some rustic eyelets to the four corners - I’m hoping I’ve got a vintage look to this card.

Elegant Floral Birthday Card

I made this card for a friend in work. Its a very uncluttered design and I used K&Co; backing paper, Silk Road Prima Flowers (I added pale blue stickles around the edge of the blue flower), Amy Butler Brad and Doodlebug eyelets (I crushed these a little too much with my crop-o-dile as I’m a little heavy handed!). I inked around the card and backing paper - hope you like x

Flower Fairy Cards

Hi all - I love flower fairies and enjoyed making these. I have used ric rac in one and lace on another (I had been dying to see what lace would look like framing one of my images and at last had a go, I like the effect very much). Don't you think flower fairies have a lovely vintage quality to them? Thank you for looking Michelle x
